The Label Around Your Neck

Occasionally I like to challenge myself with word-limit fiction. Here's a bit of 50-word fiction for you...

50 & 100 Word Fiction

I've just added a new section on the blog for 50 & 100 word fiction, something I'm quite enjoying writing at the moment.

One of my first 50-word stories, Resolutions, has been published on 50 Word Fiction, and one of my first 100 word stories ,Doggone, is on Friday Flash Fiction. Hopefully over time I'll have more success in these challenging formats.

50 words to tell a story. I figured I'd give this concept a go, especially as it fits nicely with my limited writing time. so the above was my first (un-tweaked) attempt at a 50 word story.
