Winter Haiku

It's cold, it's wet, it sometimes snows. And it seems to go on for ages, sapping the body and mind. Here's a few Haiku poems for your eyeballs to roll over.

It is snowing now
Tomorrow is a school day
Then again, perhaps?

___________

A soul as blue as an ocean
Lethargic state of happiness
Swallow, summer sunshine pill

___________

Paths shimmer, blackened
Warning not heeded
Children don’t heed

___________

It was not Christmas,
Now it is over.
Discontent whispers

___________

Unwanted. Unloved.
You made the wrong choice
Exchanged
